Sadly, I feel this event may take away any momentum the libertarian party had from the electorally impressive Johnson/Weld ticket. It will bring back wavering Republicans who *may* have started to feel like they couldn't stomach Trump, but if they're pro-gun and pro-security, this just sealed their vote. And in some states, that could make a huge difference.
