Blue state no doubt.

Since when do red states have more nature? I get that blue states have more cities, but cities aren't that big area-wise. Every blue state minus a few has rural area.

And on top of that, the blue state rural areas are the types of nature that I am looking for to spend a weekend in. I would much rather spend time in rural Minnesota, New York, or Vermont, than in rural Mississippi, Texas, or Oklahoma.

Ideally I want an urban living situation surrounded by great nature-filled places to visit. Chicago is ideal for that, as is New York, Twin Cities, Milwaukee, Boston, Denver, etc.

So blue state for me.
