The Republican primaries are over, Tom Ridge won many of the final primaries but that didn't give him the nomination, while Jeb Bush is leading in the polls and delegates also hasn't grasped the delegate mark of 1,255 only having 1,049 and Gingrich, Engler and Allard are now king makers at the convention in New York City. On the 9Th ballot, the nominee was chosen, Jeb Bush would become the nominee and to unite the split in the Republican party he chose Tom Ridge as his Vice President.
Interesting story, but I doubt it would take nine ballots for Bush to win. In fact, I doubt it would take two ballots. Ridge probably would've dropped out to become VP.
