I almost slipped and fell on ice.  The slipperiness is the only part of winter I have much of a problem with.  Thankfully, it looks like we'll avoid the ice storm that could have hit us.

I just met former Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth Sandlin!  I happen to be at my alma mater right now, where she is University President.
