This is terrible. United Way and Make a Wish are also very bad with how they package sick kids in order to keep donations coming in.
Seriously, how is he still here, yet PolitiJunkie is banned? While PJ was as cold-hearted as they come (and ignoring that stupid Tea Party account he created), he was a MUCH better poster than barfbag ever will be.

I liked him and considered supporting him if he ran for President in 2016, but now I think that he is a massive HP due to the revelations of his scandals. It is complete BS that he did not know what was going on with the bridge closure and it is quite obvious that he embezzled money form Hurricane Sandy aid to further his political career. I am hoping that he is thrown out of office and will face criminal prosecution for his actions.
He's right, except I never liked Christie pre-scandal or post-scandal. First, did you not yet see the latest leaked photo of Christie standing with Wildstein at the 9/11 event? Whether Wildstein told Christie about the bridge closure or not, Christie still blatantly lied to the people by saying he hadn't been in contact with him for awhile when he was.

The other part about Sandy is also true. He spent millions on the "We're Stronger" ad while Christie also refused to give barely any aid at all to another Mayor who refused to endorse Christie for Governor. Then there's also the redistricting scandal where Christie directly attacked the University a professor worked at for not siding with his party. He's a bully, plain and simple and deserves to be impeached and thrown out if he doesn't resign, but he's too arrogant to even do that.

Why on Earth would you be opposed to Marijuana legalization?
I'm all for high tax rates (particularly on incomes and corporations) to increase revenue, but Governor Hassan is thinking in the best interests of the state here. Yes, it's a fact that nobody has ever died from an overdose, but marijuana is known to have caused physical and mental health issues and even accidents which can result in deaths as reported by The Washington Post. I might come around in support of medical marijuana in the near future, but I'll always be against recreational marijuana.
How is this absurd? It's technically an opinion and unlike some others out there who are against marijuana legalization, I backed it up with facts and a valid (Washington Post) article.

Now this is a gem for absurdity:

Nah, I don't vote for candidates of the sociocratic party. However, if they are Democratic Party candidates, like say Schweitzer, I'll gladly vote for them.

Like I said, I would have supported the Green candidate in the VA-Sen race anyways before Mark Warner made these comments about Justin Bieber b/c I won't support any 2014 Senate Dem who spoke in favor of the Iran sanctions which would have disrupted any chance at peace. So that also includes the Greens in DE, NJ, AK, AR, LA, and NC, but for the mainstream, I'll still give the Democrats in those states and VA my second preference over the Pubbie. There's no way I would ever support Christie O'Donnell, Brannon/Tillis, Treadwell/Miller/Palin etc. in those states over one thing.

And while I'm here, I've got a few as well:

Bloomberg is far more dangerous and far more worse than lung cancer.

I can't tell if this is supposed to be joking or not.
Dangerous, no. He won't run for President, thank God. But I still think he is worse than cancer.

And.....just about this whole thread in general as well. A mass murderer cannot be compared to a pop singer, no matter how much you hate the singer.

I don't think you get it.
It's all of a big joke yeah, but don't you think Justin Bieber has suffered enough hate not to be jokingly compared to freaking Stalin?

You can't compare a hyperbolic statement by me about a politician who I strongly dislike to basing your decision on a pop star whom you’re attracted to. If I’m going to get a lecture in rationality, you are literally the last person on earth I’ would consult.

Also, you are aware that the Independent Greens of Virginia are radical centrists and not lefties, right?
You expect me to believe you're exaggerating there? Not even the guys responding to you on that thread believe you're kidding. Also, why don't you make friends with Renee Ellmers? You'd get along with her greatly judging from your comments about me. Tongue

And I really don't care what their ideology is. I said I'm supporting Warner as a second preference which should be good enough for a man that likes to pick on a 19 year old bullied teen/young adult and abandon the doves of the Democratic Party.

HP. He's an NRA member and hunter who represents a district that went to Obama with about 2/3rds of the vote in 2012 and is terribly trying to get people to believe he's evolving on same-sex marriage now.

And apparently, this has been a Dingell seat in Congress since 1932, the FDR era. Dingell only even won it because his father died and simply took advantage of the situation, so he's literally trying to form a hierarchy with Debbie. We can't let him and he's far overextended his stay, yet says after 58 years in Congress, "I don't want people to say I stayed too long." I'll be so glad to see this guy gone and see a real Michiganite become Dean in John Conyers.

Bolded the most delusional aspect of this post, but it's also terrible for the fact that it completely ignores Dingell's long history of fighting for socialized medicine and standing as an ally of organized labor because he supported the right to self defense and was a member of an organization that believed in armed self defense.
You have to understand though that I'm one of the most anti-gun members of the forum and don't like gun owners let alone hunters at all. Heck, I've even openly supported the DC Firearms Control Regulations Act, so don't find my dislike for an NRA Democrat shocking.

And jeez, can anybody openly express their views against marijuana without it landing in Deluge?

Easy: Al Sharpton. Always have disliked him. Tongue

However, if you had included Ann Coulter, George Will and Rush Limbaugh, hell would freeze over from disgust. Compared to those three, Al Sharpton is an angel and not at all annoying.

Do people realize that Al Sharpton is a rabid anti-semite? The man has used the media, including his own media platforms, to incite violence against the Jewish community. He quite literally recreated Kristal Nacht on the streets of New York, and quite a few hate-crimes and murders have resulted from the lynch mobs he organized. In the most notorious incident, one of his lieutenants burned down a Jewish business with the owners and himself inside because they evicted a black tenant to expand their business.

The man is practically a bonafide Nazi.
Key part in bold. I can get why some Republicans hate Reverend Sharpton, but this is basic Tea Party/LaRouche rhetoric here comparing a black Democrat to Nazis, only it's Rev. Sharpton instead of President Obama.

So a black anti-semite can't be called out for being an anti-Semite because he is black? Would that make a Jewish democrat a racist for opposing Jesse Jackson?
The Cato-Lifsh incident happened over two decades ago, and accusing Reverend Sharpton of being an anti-Semite for something he personally regrets deep down is not right. He just overreacted in a hostile manner to protect his race which was still being discriminated against back then in the 1990s and still to this day as he reflects on his show. Obviously, since he's a nationally acclaimed political figure now, he's moved on from the anti-Semitist rallies and break-ins and ever since then and as recently as 2008 has made efforts to become friendlier with in relations with Jewish leaders.
