Yeah, it's not as if he endorsed Gay Marriage and Abortion, that would just be terrible.

The Democratic Attorney General of Nevada refused to defend state law barring same-sex marriage and the Nevada Republican Party dropped opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage from its platform. If he could make it through the primaries he could definitely be competitive in the general election.
