Currently, I am a patent litigation attorney. I work for a small IP litigation boutique, but we are involved in some high profile cases against major tech companies.
Previously, I was a legal malpractice and medical malpractice defense attorney at a medium-sized general litigation firm.
Through high school and college, I was a sailing instructor / racing coach.
My worst job was when I had two half time internships for a given summer, one as an intern at a law firm and a supposed engineering internship at an automotive parts manufacturer. But I got there and instead of doing actual engineering work as promised, I was put on a CNC machine to just make parts all day long. They had supposedly lost much of the workforce due to immigration issues shortly before I got there, so they just stuck me on the manufacturing floor. I quit after two weeks and went full time at my internship at the law firm. Maybe it was weak of me to quit just two weeks in, but that was not the experience I was supposed to be getting.
