My now-wife got in my head a little bit in 2012, and I decided to vote for Johnson rather than Obama, while she voted for Romney. I justified it in my head saying that "I was sending a message" that I wasn't happy with the two party system, but if I did not have her influence at the time I probably would have voted Obama.
This last time around I voted for Hillary and didn't hide it one bit. She voted for Johnson, but if she voted in a swing state she would have voted for Hillary.
