2. What are 'The Ashes'?
As I understand it, it is the prize being played for at the moment between England and Australia is cricket. I believe it's held annually, though my knowledge of anything to do with cricket could only charitably be described as sketchy.

3. Which states bank the Murray River?
South Australia and New South Wales?

4. Who has the balance of power in the federal Senate?
No idea.

5. Which European (re)discovered Australia? (Both answers accepted, bonus point for one of them in particular)
Willem Janz? I think. James Cook, I suppose could also be considered a contender.

6. In which city would you find the suburb of Toorak?
No idea, Adelaide?

7. What is the primary sport of Tasmania?
Again, no idea, Australian Rules?

No point even guessing.

Don't know so I'll guess Queensland for both.

If the advertising campaign they use is anything to go by, and indeed its fairly probable that it isn't I'll go with Fosters.
