A TNS-MRBI poll appeared in today's Irish Times on the EU Constitution.

Voting Intentions:
Yes 30
No 35
Don't Know 35

Should we hold a referendum:
Yes 45
No 34
DK 21

Which of the following statements comes closest to your view of Ireland's status in the EU?
Should unite fully with EU 36%
Should protect independance from EU 45%
DK 19%

How well do you understand the issues involved in the proposed EU Constitution?
Good understanding 9%

I would be interested to see the Voting intentions broken down by level of understanding if thats possible to be gotten hold of?

Sorry can't help you there on specifics, except to say that there has always existed a strong correlation between understanding and Yes votes here re: European treaties, prime example being our two Nice Treaty referenda.
