I will be curious to see what becomes attempts by RFK Jr, Jill Stein, and Cornel West to get on the ballot, especially in swing states.  I am sure they will fail in many places due to technicalities but the decision will be very politically motivated.  It seems fairly similar here. I am sure there are some sound "technical" reasons for this but I am sure political considerations would play a huge role.

There are many reasons for me to back Putin but there is one key reason for me to prefer  Davankov over Putin.   Namely, Davankov opposed Putin's COVID-19 vaccine mandates back in 2021.

Turnout is at 65% with most of Sunday voting to come.  Turnout will exceed 2018 for sure which most likely means Putin total vote received will most likely exceed 2018

It seems turnout is 73.33 which missed the 1991 record of 74.7%.  Of course, these are preliminary numbers and could get adjusted upward.

Vladimir Putin has won 88,8% of votes in Moscow with 70,09% of ballots counted.  This is a big turnaround for an area that has traditionally been weak for Putin.

Putin will most likely end up with ~76 million votes which would be in the rough area of what Biden and Trump will get in 2024.  It will be interesting to see if either Biden or Trump beat Putin's numbers.  I suspect neither will.

Turnout adjusted to 77.44%  I think there were a bunch of spoiled ballots which I have to assume is the Navalny vote.   This breaks the 1991 record for turnout.

Registered voters per election since 1991

1991   106.5 million
1996   108.5 million
2000   109.4 million
2004   108.0 million
2008   107.2 million
2012   109.9 million
2018   109.0 million
2024   114.2 million

There was a large drop in birth rates in the 1990s which one should see show up starting in the early 2010s in terms of registered voters.   I guess that trend is outweighed in 2024 by the addition of the population acquired in the new territories annexed from Ukraine.

"Putin got 72.3% in voting abroad — final results"

It seems around 6.8% of the vote abroad are null which is pretty much the Navalny vote.
