Trump is for equal pay now? He's not even trying to hide the fact that he's a plant. And his supporters eat it up.

Its an attempt to put a wedge in the women's vote, between married and unmarried women.

Really, is first points of his speech is the number of votes he got in the primaries?

I was confused by what he meant when he said the democrats got 20% less vote than 4 years ago.

He was comparing the 2016 primaries (hotly contested to the end) to the 2012 primaries (never seriously contested). At least if I interpreted correctly.

I think he meant 8 years ago and not 4 years ago from the 2008 Dem primaries.

Wow, he's still sticking to his script.

I guess his logic that only high information voters would even know about about the leaked speech.  His target is low information voters tonight so it is best to stick to the speech that will appeal to that bloc of voters.

It's been an hour and 10 minutes so far. When's the last time an acceptance speech was this long?

Have you ever heard of William Henry Harrison? Tongue

Yes, but that was the Inaugural Address and not the nomination acceptance speech.
