When do I get to stop giving him a chance? Cause I'd like to now.

Another thought: I cannot hope but fear that this, and the possibility of a cabinet post for Kris Kobach, is a foreboding sign for how a Trump administration will look at voting rights going forward.

Nationwide Voter ID would get a unanimous R vote in Congress.

Kennedy and probably even Roberts and Thomas wouldn't stand for nationwide voter ID. The precedent it'd set for federal encroachment on something that's typically state jurisdiction would be massive.

After this cycle, I have a very very low opinion of Republican's willingness to stand up to totalitarian ideals.
