Been in the news for the past week but video has surfaced of the shooting of Eric Harris, a unarmed black suspect who was shot to death by a 73-year-old volunteer Sheriff's deputy in Tulsa.

The official story the Tulsa Police Department has been going with is that Robert Bates, the volunteer in question, intended to use his taser but grabbed his gun by mistake. The video seems to support this, as Bates can be heard saying "Oh I shot him, I'm sorry" shortly after he fires his shot.

The video however shows how sociopathic American police can be. As Harris bleeds to death on the ground, officers can be heard saying "You g ran, shut the f**k up" and "F**k your breath" in response to Harris' stating he was having trouble breathing. The TPD has claimed that the officers were not aware that Harris had been shot during the arrest, but the video appears to show that the TPD is lying.

There's also outrage to be had that Robert Bates was allowed to be a police officer in the first place. Bates, who served as a police deputy for one year in 1964, allowed Bates to be a Volunteer Deputy and let him go on patrols where he could chase, arrest, and apparently even kill people. Bates was given these powers as a reward, as Bates is wealthy and had donated large amounts of money & weapons to the police department.

Sociopathic?
That volunteer was in complete and utter panic.

My mom and dad were putting in a dock when I was little...and my dad slipped, twisted his back under the weight of the dock section and on his way down...smacked his head HARD on the corner, concussing him.

My mom immediately started screaming at him..."oh God what the ffff is wrong with you!?"...cuz she's a sociopath, right?

No.

As soon as it happened, fear hit her like a ton of bricks.  Oh God he's hurt bad...oh God is he gonna die?  Oh God the kids need a ride to the dentist tomorrow and I need him for this and this and this and this and this and this and this and I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WHAT THE FFFFF IS WRONG WITH (me)YOU!?

That volunteer cop's world came crashing down around him the instant he realized what had happened.  And he projected the panic at the only other guy present.

Thats a whole different ballgame.

I was more referring to the way in which they treated Harris as he lay dying. I already said I believe that Bates is telling the truth when he says it was an accident.

Reach into your pocket to grab your wallet? Get shot for reaching for a gun.
Don't reach for your wallet? Get shot for not complying with police orders.
