Nah. People like you who started this kerfuffle are the enemy of the Democratic Party.

The President won because he reached out to us to attempt to heal the wounds of the Democratic Party. He knew he needed our support. He knew we were a force to be reckoned with, and he knew we needed to win. He recognizes that we need a coalition of everyone, whether they be socialists or centrists, to beat the Republican Party.

It's a shame the Democratic Party doesn't feel the same way Joe Biden does.

AOC has been attacking the Lincoln Project, who last I checked, are Republicans.

Lincoln project literally spent ~70 million this election to try to oust Republicans. They have show nothing but unequivocal support for Biden and congressional Democrats. Additionally they didn't hurt the Democrats by attacking fracking or defending "defund the police". I'd say regardless of their past they did more to help the Democrats this cycle than certain members of congress who criticized Biden and his positions on things like fracking.

They also helped to enable the rise of Trump, refused to air any of those hard-hitting ads outside of their Twitter feeds, and CONTINUED TO SUPPORT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN THE DOWNBALLOT.

Just admit that you hate us more than you hate Republicans.

Joe Biden is the Democratic Party.

Joe Biden is a great man, but he only has so much control over millions of people. I'd point to House leadership, specifically Pelosi and Clyburn and Lamb and everyone else suggesting that progressive ideology is what's dooming the party.

I don't have much of a problem with Spanberger's comments. I vehemently disagree with Lamb's, especially his backhanded compliment about how AOC beat Crowley, but not enough to burn the bridges with him. At the same time, AOC didn't attack Lamb ideologically, she attacked him on his poor digital operations, which have been proven to be true! The entire thing is nowhere near a proportional response.

I can take criticism. In fact, I'm probably going to agree with you in it. My wing was unable to sell the ideas we support. If you want to say that, we can have a debate about how the party as a whole could have counter-messaged.

However, when people like TopShelfGoal and Blairite start calling people like me the enemy of the Democratic Party, we're gonna have problems. When you start praising Republicans who support other Republicans as more devoted to the Democratic cause than us, you alienate people. When you support a group in which one of its leaders helped give my state ten more years of Republican control, you don't get to call yourself a Democrat.

When you call the left the enemy, you're no better than a Republican.

It’s not dooming the party, but it is hurting it to a certain extent.

I'd argue that messaging is the issue more than the ideology itself. Counter-messaging is just as important as messaging - just take a look at how well Buttigieg did in the primary.

That’s great. However they are allies of convenience, cobelligerents really, who should be immediately dropped at the best opportunity because they would inevitably do the same to the Democrats. They are not to be kept close to the bosom of the party because they are inherently untrustworthy.

600 votes decided control of the state senate here. Surely their communications director could have pulled some strings to funnel some of those Lincolnbux to ensure we had fair districts!

Oh wait, she supports the Republican governor out here and still has a place in Chris Sununu's GOP if they ever take back the party.

Having John Kasich and several fycking republicans speak at the DNC showed who the establishment of the party really cares for.

Also fyck the full grift that the Lincoln Project is and anyone defending it- when they did jack sh**t, with useless ads and wasting money,

You forgot the part where Kasich attacked AOC by name before his speech Smiley

Never forget that when they say unity, they mean submission.

If it wasn’t Trump and was Kasich or Cruz running I actually wouldn’t have minded Bernie getting the nominee so that he would get blown off the field and take our House majority down with him so that we can get rid of Left Wing Sarah Palin and her Reddit friends.

Hey, maybe Kasich or Cruz would have upheld that trans military ban you always wanted.
