I'm defining prominent as any current or recently former Senator, Governor, or Representative, any high-profile Mayor or statewide official, a high-profile candidate for an upcoming race, or anyone else that most people know of. That's up for your interpretation though. Anyway, who are your favorite and least favorites from your party?
Favorites Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (NY) Senator Sherrod Brown (OH) Mayor Julian Castro (TX) Vice President Joe Biden (DE) Congressman Mike Capuano (MA) Congressman Jim Himes (CT) Former President Bill Clinton (AR) Former Vice President Al Gore (TN) Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (NY) Former Senator Russ Feingold (WI) Public Advocate Bill de Blasio (NY) Congressman Rush Holt (NJ) Senator Martin Heinrich (NM) State Auditor Adam Edelen (KY) Attorney General Kamala Harris (CA)
Least Favorites Governor Martin O'Malley (MD) Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (NY) Governor Andrew Cuomo (NY) Mayor Cory Booker (NJ) Governor Neil Abercrombie (HI) Governor Pat Quinn (IL) Governor Lincoln Chaffee (RI)
Try to keep your lists to about 10-15; I could list tons of other Dems I'm enthusiastic about (the Udalls, Shaheen & Sheheen, Hassan, Hickenlooper, Schweitzer, Carney, Franken Bennet, Wyden, Merkley, Hagan, Landrieu, Warner), and tons of others I think are plenty of other dunderheads in my party (Reid, Malloy, Carper/Coons, Menendez, Holder), but less is more so if we are gonna make big statements the lists should be concise.
