Great TL. I think 2016 could very plausibly see a scenario similar to this. The only thing I'd change is that Kelly Ayotte is VERY unlikely to win reelection in 2016 (Democratic wave or not), and while Rubio might hold on in real life, he'd definitely lose in a wave this big. I'm glad you let Portman survive though.
