Thank you Mr. Speaker, and thank you Governor for the nomination, as Lieutenant-Governor I will do my best to serve Atlasia. I take this job on as a public servant of the people, and I will faithfully represent them to the best of my abilities. I regret the circumstances that have required me to take this office and I will miss Tmthforu, but we cannot focus on the past forever, but instead must move forward and ahead.

I will be taking a leave of absence, lasting one week, starting tomorrow.  I have a few RL issues that need addressing, and regrettably, will be unable to execute my responsibilities as Governor of the Mideast for a week.  I have full confidence that Lt. Governor MadmanMotley will do a fine job as Acting Governor for the next week.

MadmanMotley, do you request a vote on being installed as Acting Governor by the assembly?

I would yes, if no one else will, I will later propose an Amendment this weekend so we don't have to worry about this again.

MadmanMotley, you should also consider giving the Lt. Gov the power to break ties in the case of a tied vote in the assembly in your Amendment. I believe there no tie-breaking procedure is provided by the constitution as of right now.

I believe that would be prudent, though I would prefer if someone else made the amendment, as I feel it inappropriate for myself at Lt. Governor to propose an amendment that would give me more power.

I regret to announce that I must resign as Mideast Governor.  It is suddenly apparent that current, challenging RL issues need more focus I previously thought, and I must address them, and I am unable to fully serve the people of the Mideast as Governor.  I will also have to reduce my activity on the whole forum for now.  I wish the best of luck to Governor MadmanMotley in serving the Mideast, and I have full confidence that he will make this great region even greater.

I am sincerly sorry to see you go, while we've had a few political differences, you've truly made a good governor, and I have been honored to serve as your Lieutenant Governor. I wish you luck in all future endevours and your RL issues. Good luck, I wish you well.
