In the news today, Netanyahu has appointed MK Danny Danon as Ambassador to the UN, in a move that both gets the insurgent right-winger Danon out of Bibi's hair and sends a huge middle finger to the UN.

Danon is replaced in the Knesset by the next person on the Likud list, Sharren Haskel, a 31 year old Canadian immigrant who favors marijuana legalization but is otherwise a boilerplate Likudnik.

Haskel's ascension brings the number of female MKs to 30, or 25%, an all time high. If you were wondering, yes, she is conventionally attractive.
