As a Florida resident, I recommend only the Tallahassee area, and there is not much to do there at all unless a music festival is going on or something Tongue.

Eh, I'd add St. Augustine and the Keys as cool sorts of history places.
Eh, I went to St. Augustine last month and it was pretty bad. It's only good if it is your first visit. Otherwise, it is a rather overrated beach town filled with the dirtiest chain restaurants and cruddy hotels I've ever seen.

This was the same trip where we couldn’t get any food because the restaurants closed after a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert nearby and my Uncle drunkenly retold the story of the Donnor Party to a Denny’s hostess in order to get us inside so we could wait two hours for dinner at 11:30 PM.

I'd say St. Augustine for the fort, and that's pretty much it. The biggest things to see outside of Orlando would probably be New Smyrna Beach. Daytona Beach is way overrated.
