First, could we get a full list of the Biden cabinet?

Second, the results of the 2022 midterms would be nice.

As for my player choice, I think I'll be the Current First Lady of the United States, Dr. Jill Biden (assuming you approve her, of course).

Yes I will write up the Cabinet and Midterms soon. As to Jill Biden, it seems a bit unrealistic given that she has had no political ambitions before. Is there anyone on the list you would consider?

Neither did Michelle Obama, and I've seen players successfully play as her in multiple election games before.

Anyways, my second choice would be to play as Kamala Harris.

I'd like to play as AOC if nobody else with more experience on the Atlas forum does.

Hey, a Kamala vs AOC primary. Something that might actually happen in 2024/2028.

Anyways, now that we have 4? players, (and two Democrats and two Republicans), I'd say it's probably time for the gameplay thread to be posted.

Of course, I'm not the GM, but I'd like to see this one start as soon as possible.

When is the deadline to have evrything in?

That would be helpful.

Also, a response on the PM I sent you about endorsements would be helpful too.

Might be a dumb question but how are endorsements going to work?

I assumed it would be PM (which is why I sent one), but maybe not?

I didn't post an announcement speech (largely because I wanted it implied that Kamala had already announced her candidacy by May 1). Is that okay?

Sorry, someone else took him. Any other candidate you would like?

I will be running as AZ Senator Mark Kelly.

Could you choose someone from the list please? (Especially as Kelly was only recently elected and it is hard for me to say how much clout would he have in 2024)

I agree with Kelly being a bad choice, but it's rather unfair to force players to choose from the list you provided.

There probably are other options not on the list in both parties that would be perfectly reasonable candidates.

I was gonna take Kamala Harris, but I am very interested in this game. I will keep updated.
The first turn ends in 2 days, so if you want to take another candidate, you can still do so!

Funny, I suggested that too.

Tbh I would prefer someone from the list but if you really want her

I'd advise you to approve Noem. She's already receiving buzz as a 2024 candidate.

Is this still open to applicants? Would love to run as Mike Lindell or Mike Flynn.

Not the GM, but unless Lindell got elected to something in Minnesota in 2022, it's unrealstic.

As for Flynn, he's a convicted Felon (unless Trump pardoned him on his way out of the door). He makes no sense at all.

I mean, look at who the President is...

Yeah, but Trump has had interest in politics going back for decades before his run. The closest interest is a run for Governor of Minnesota in 2022, which he might have won, but then he'd only be Governor for less than a year before starting a Presidential Campaign, which makes no sense.

Opinions are always welcome but NYE, you are not the Game Moderator. I thought you wanted me to leave people alone and choose their candidates. Devout Centrist will be allowed to have the candidate he wants however as a result of their...unusualness, the polling start will be low and he will have to run a very good campaign in order to get them elected (kind of like IRL).

That is a reasonable compromise, actually.

Btw if you have any suggestions as to how to improve the game or things you would like me to change please tell me.

A time skip to October or November and shorter turns, maybe two weeks instead of a whole month per turn would be good changes.
