The federal complaint alleges Sen. Katrina Robinson (D) used more than $600,000 to pay for campaign expenses and her wedding, honeymoon and divorce.
Robinson allegedly embezzled the funds from grant money for a nurse training program at the vocational school she directs.
Robinson is not up for reelection this year.
Her District (SD-33) is heavily Democratic, so the question is, if for some reason, Robinson is still in office in 2022, how likely is it that she would lose a primary?
