Casey would make a good pick for a Harris campaign, but for anyone else, he's both too moderate and too Northeastern/Mid-Atlantic.
Someone like Biden/Sanders/Warren/Booker/Gillibrand, should be thinking about regional balance, so maybe someone like Tammy Baldwin, Catherine Cortez Masto, Tammy Duckworth or Kamala Harris (if she doesn't win the nomination).
In fact, I think a Warren/Harris or Gillibrand/Harris ticket would be a very strong ticket in November for Democrats.
