Congressman Jim Clyburn (D-SC)

Clyburn will spend the month of November campaigning in South Carolina, and neighboring states, Georgia, North Carolina and Florida. He will also be fundraising amongst the African American Community.

The Obama Campaign Team

Campaign Manager-David Axelrod
Chief Budget Operator-Patti Solis Doyle
Chief Ad Writer- Jim Messina
Delegate Operations- Stephanie Cutter
Communications Director/Press Secretary/Spokesperson-Robert Gibbs
Chief Domestic Policy Adviser- Barack Obama
Chief Foreign Policy Adviser- Barack Obama

Schedule for Michelle Obama

November 1 to November 6

Campaign with Barack Obama and Jim Clyburn in and around Columbia, South Carolina

I said at the Democratic National Convention that being President reveals who you are, and we have seen exactly who President Trump is. He is a petty spiteful man, who is trying to become a despot. I fear that if he wins reelection, he will push through a constitutional amendment, legally or otherwise to allow him to rule for life, just like Vladimir Putin is trying to do in Russia. We need to defeat him at the ballot box now, and nip this dictatorship in the bud.

November 7 to November 10

Campaign in and around Clemson, South Carolina, with Barack Obama

The fact is, too many minorities suffer at the hands of institutional racism, and while our state and local legislative bodies have made progress, they haven't made enough over the years, as the treatment of my husband in office shows. That's why, as President, I will push for a constitutional amendment to set aside a minimum number of legislative seats for all minority groups in our legislatures, and in our Congress, so that they actually look more like America, and not just like one side of America.

November 11

Attend Veterans Day Parade , Des Moines, Iowa

November 12, 13

Campaign in and around Charleston, South Carolina

Yesterday, President Trump trashed almost everyone in our field. I don't know why John Delaney is getting the kid gloves from someone who is committing treason every day he is in office...and I'll have him know that all of the "scandals" he's talking about are blown out of proportion. If you want a "scandal" by a Democratic President, look at Whitewater, or the Vince Foster fiasco. That's a scandal, not anything that happened in my husband's administration.

November 14-20

Campaign in and around Des Moines, Iowa
C
It's been twelve long years since we were competing in a competitive caucus in the Hawkeye State, and I believe we are capable. I know what you're thinking, we're not going beat Joe Biden or Sherrod Brown because they are experienced politicians, or are from the Rust Belt, but I'm confident we'll do just as well here as we did in 2008!

November 21-26

Fundraisers in New York City and Chicago.

November 27-30

Thanksgiving Weekend in Chicago (With Barack Obama, Sasha and Malia Obama).

Michelle Obama-Debate answers

1. Unless President Trump is indicted before the election, I don't think we're going to win places like Ohio or Iowa. We need to focus on winning new territory to replace the states in the old "blue wall" like Florida, Arizona, North Carolina and Georgia, and I believe I am the best candidate to do that.

2. My first hundred days will be dedicated to reversing the spiteful behavior President Trump displayed towards my husband's administration. I will also move to shut ICE down, and reduce Border Patrol's role to deporting those who are already in the country who commit crimes. There is no immigrant who should be turned away at the gates of our country.

3. Given President Trump is committing Trump every day he is in office, no he is not a successful President. He is the worst President we've had since James Buchanan, and if he wins, we might be headed towards another civil war.

4. I think at this point, it's rather clear Afghanistan simply cannot be stabilized. We've fallen into the same trap the Soviet Union fell into in the 1980's, and it's costing us more and more troops every day. As such I would pull all U.S forces out of Afghanistan within one hundred eighty days.

5. Being a former First Lady, I like to think I have at least some political knowledge and skill, which is more than I can say for Mr. Jeter, at the minimum.

Schedule for Michelle Obama

December 1

Finish Thanksgiving weekend with family (Barack, Sasha, Malia), Chicago, Illinois

December 2-5

Campaign in and around Davenport, Iowa (With Barack Obama)

It's been fourteen years, but people seem to have forgotten that Senator Gillibrand once was a pro-gun, anti-immigrant, Congresswoman who voted against the bailout of our country's financial system in 2008. Now, as she enters her tenth year as a Senator, and runs for President, she's flip-flopped on every one of these issues. I don't think anyone in the party wants the stigma of flip-flopper over the nominee's head. Remember John Kerry? He was hit with that label, and it cost him the election in 2004. Senator Gillibrand will be slammed with it far worse by any Republican nominee, which is why I'm a better choice for the nomination. I have bold principles, and I have the courage to stick by them. That's what we need, not flip-flopping.

December 6-7

Campaign in and around Ames, Iowa (With Barack Obama)

President Trump has essentially committed treason, violated our constitution's Emoluments clause, and openly colluded with the Russian government to elect himself President. He may well be doing the same to get himself or another Republican elected this time around. As President, I will have Trump put on trial for the crimes he has committed, and he will face whatever penalty he faces, even if he has to pay the ultimate price, as that is what happens when you commit treason.

December 8-14

Campaign in and around Des Moines, Iowa

After the chaos with the last two heads of the Democratic National Committee, it's time for someone who is both progressive and trusted by all sides of the party. I will, if elected appoint an Elizabeth Warren or Tammy Baldwin as chair of Democratic National Committee, based on their record within the party, and their support within the party.

December 15-21

Campaign in and around Las Vegas, Nevada +Debate prep

I know the Supreme Court legalized sports gambling just over a year ago, but it's time we do the same for activities like online poker, and tax it. There's no reason the government can't make revenue on online poker winnings from U.S players, none at all.

December 22

Debate

December 23

Fundraisers, Chicago, Illinois

December 24-26

Christmas with family in Washington D.C (Barack, Sasha, Malia)

December 27-30

Campaign in and around Manchester/Nashua, New Hampshire

The fact of the matter is, I meant what I said in the debate about Afghanistan not being able to be stabilized. There is a reason it is called the "graveyard of empires", with the British Empire, the Soviet Union, and the United States/NATO all have failed to conquer Afghanistan/achieve the goals they set out to reach. That's not good, and it's the reason we need to pull our troops.

December 31

Attend New Year's Eve Ball Drop, Times Square, New York City

New endorsements for Michelle Obama

Former Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA)

Harkin will be campaigning exclusively in Iowa, during the month of January.

We at the De Moines Register chose to back Hillary Clinton over President Obama, twelve years ago, as unpopular President George W. Bush was leaving office, despite all the signs that this was change election. We were wrong. Obama won the caucus, and the nomination. Now President Trump stands in office, completing his first term, and he too is unpopular with large portions of the electorate, to the point where he has earned a primary challenge. This is another change election, and just like her husband, Michelle Obama, has the vision and bold ideas, to bring about the change that both Iowa and the nation need. All of the other Democrats are fine contenders, and we are confident that every one of them could defeat the President, but Mrs. Obama would bring the largest margin of victory in our opinion, and for that reason, we choose to endorse her for President of the United States in the Democratic Primary.

John Lewis will be campaigning in South Carolina

Jim Clyburn will be campaigning in South Carolina

Barack Obama will be campaigning in Iowa

Obama campaign Schedule- Part One

January 1

New Year's Day Brunch Fundraiser, Manhattan, New York

January 2-5

Campaign in and around Muscatine, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Barack Obama)

Joe Biden, for a supposed foreign policy expert has been on the wrong side of history just a few too many times for my taste. When George W. Bush decided he wanted to depose Saddam Hussein, Biden voted for the authorization to go to war. And then, when my husband learned that Osama Bin Laden was hiding in Abbotbad, Pakistan and made up his mind to bring justice to him once and for all, Biden said that we "didn't have enough information to do it". Well, a good President has to be willing to take risks, and be willing to pay the price if the chance we took backfired. We were willing to pay the price if Bin Laden got away again, or if Pakistan decided to go to war with us over the operation, because the chance of bringing the world's most wanted terrorist to justice was so much greater than whatever price we could pay in our eyes, and because we were so confident we would succeed...and we did. You were wrong, twice. Iraq is still a mess, and the resolution to go to war and subsequent invasion led to rise of ISIL, a terrorist group that has cost hundreds if not thousands of lives to this point.

December 6-9

Campaign in and around Burlington, Iowa (With Barack Obama)

Betsy DeVos just doesn't get our educational system. Yes, the idea of charter schools and private schools sounds wonderful in theory...but when you consider that her party's is that all charter schools must be only religious schools, or teach evangelical Christianity a majority of the time, it just falls flat. Remember, Jerry Fallwell Jr. was President Trump's first choice.

Obama Campaign Schedule-Part Two

January 7

Campaign in and around Bettendorf, Iowa
[imghttp://theawesomedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/michelle-obama-speech-feat-1.jpg]http://[/img]
Senator Gillibrand claimed in her new ad that she "unbought and unbossed by anyone". Well, Senator, how about all the time you spent serving as a lawyer defending Phillip Morris.. roughly fourteen years by my count, give or take a year. How is that not being bought and paid for by Big Tobacco?

January 8

Speech in and Around Davenport, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

So, the Democratic Socialists decided to endorse a candidate worth hundreds of millions dollars in Derek Jeter. Isn't that the opposite of what they believe in? Wouldn't their efforts have been better spent getting Bernie Sanders to run again?

January 9-15

Barnstorm  in rural South Carolina (With Jim Clyburn)

January 16-19

January 20
Private Ceremony to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Atlanta, Georgia

January 21-26
Barnstorm in Rural Nevada

January 27-30
Barnstorm in New Hampshire

January 31

GOTV/Phone Call in Iowa

Election night party/rally in Des Moines (With Tom Harkin, Barack, Sasha and Malia Obama)

Mr. Moderator, can I be endorsed by Representative O'Rourke of Texas? I feel the endorsement would fit for me, since we are both from the same state, and stand up for the Dems.!

Umm...

1. There's an OOC page for this.
2. Your're supposed PM him for endorsements...but I suppose since you only have nine posts, you can't do that yet...

In the Democratic Primary, we endorse Michelle Obama for President. While we may not agree with her positions on the issues, we cannot deny that she has the passion and fire to see her agenda through, which is more than many of the other candidates running can say.

Other Surrogates

Tom Harkin will be campaigning in Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri and South Dakota

Jim Clyburn will be campaigning in South Carolina

John Lewis will be campaigning in South Carolina

Barack Obama will be campaigning in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada.

Schedule for Michelle Obama

February 10, 2020

Meet Voters in Edgefield, South Carolina

Speech in North Augusta, South Carolina

I'm just going to assume Senator Jones is running because he knows Alabama voters won't reelect him this year. I mean, I like the guy a lot for prosecuting members of Ku Klux Klan, but the fact is, his moderate viewpoint doesn't resonate with our party's base. What works for Alabama's Democrats, doesn't work for Democrats in California, New York, Illinois or other states across the country, and we are sacrificing a Senate seat with him running for President, that he (possibly) might have won.

Speech in Aiken, South Carolina

Vice President Biden was chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee during the Clarence Thomas Supreme Court confirmation battle, right? So, why when Thomas was accused of sexually harassing Anita Hill, did Biden not do the right thing and stop the hearings then and there, and deny Thomas a vote? These days, we've seen justices like Merrick Garland denied votes for less, so Thomas certainly should have been denied a vote for his sexual harassment.

Meet Voters in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina

February 11, 2019

Meet Voters in Saluda, South Carolina

Meet Voters in Newberry, South Carolina

February 12, 2019-February 17, 2019

February 25-26

Michelle Obama speech/announcement

Well, we won South Carolina...but we failed to hold on to Nevada, and we didn't win South Carolina by the margin we needed to advance further in the race. As such, I believe it is time for me to suspend my campaign for the Presidency. The question now becomes where do we go from here? There is only one candidate I feel comfortable endorsing, and I hope my husband agrees with me... I proudly endorse my good friend, Joe Biden for President, and will work to see him elected in November!
