Sam Simon, best known for co-creating the Simpsons lost his battle with Colorectal Cancer yesterday at 59. In addition being a co-creator of Homer, Bart, Maggie and Lisa, Simon was an Producer/Director/Writer on the Drew Carey Show, The George Carlin Show, Cheers (though he did not direct) and Taxi.
