Riordan's relatively Moderate and thus (slightly) acceptable, while Hayden is probably too Progressive for the most progressive State in the Country (Which says more about our country than Hayden).

If we're talking GOP primary, Poinzer (because it looks like Ponzi). If we're talking General, then Moonbeam all the way!

I cannot in good conscience support Mark Kirk in a blue state like Illinois, or a candidate who has been involved in activities that could lead to him being compared to a mobster, which I would vote for Green Party nominee LeAlan Jones.

Shannon in the Primary (At least he checks off a box that isn't filled by 20 other people), as for the General... Probably Henry, although I know full well we have no shot at this seat

The Liberals.  Quebec separatism strikes me as really bad for both the Anglophone minority in Quebec... and the Francophone minority in the rest of Canada.  (Also way to isolate the Atlantic provinces even further.)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_City_mayoral_elections#1969  (sorry if this one was done before)
Norman Mailer in the Democratic Primary, John Lindsay in the General.

Nay... It's a bad law, and it's made even worse by the idea that private schools should be exemot from affirmative action policy, in any direction.

The People who don't want to keep breaking up the United Kingdom (Personally I think Scotland and Wales's status should be similar to Puerto Rico's but that's just me)

Probably Chase Smith, though Hathaway had the right idea opposing Ford (any Nixon nominee for VP was going to be permanently scarred)

Nixon... Even without the Communist attacks, Gaghan Douglas wasn't as strong a candidate as people like to think.

So you're telling me, you'd support the rise of dirty tricks and McCarthyism all in the name of Nixon being "stronger"....wow,...just wow.

And anyway, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_election_in_Pennsylvania,_1976

Green

And, for the previous answer... There's a difference in power between a Senator and being Vice-President, and of being President (This, and maybe 1972 are the only times I would have voted for Nixon)

Yes. I can't blame people in the 1800's for Blood Diamonds, and being free in Libreville was safer than being in Atlanta in slavery.

Whoever bought the fewest votes.

(If you didn't watch the episode...shame on you... but it's the one where Sideshow Bob runs for Mayor Springfield against Mayor Quimby)
