I'm calling fool's gold here. If this were 2010's climate and a weak incumbent like Bennet was running, I'd be incredibly worried, but Udall is literally a perfect fit (with his civil libertarian leanings) for the Democratic base and independents in this state. I wouldn't be surprised if polls show Gardner leading by a few points for a bit, but like Michigan, Dems will come home in the end if Udall runs a solid campaign.

Also, I'm excited for Democrats to trash the career of someone who I thought had in future in the GOP leadership.
