Aren't half of Americans already vaccinated and it's easy to get a vaccine anyway. Overhere in Canada the vaccine was slow but has been picking up steam, it stills a while before there is some sort of herd immunity
A third of Americans are vaccinated and India is a breeding ground for new vaccine-resistant strains given how rapidly the total number of cases are growing.
Very few people in India are vaccinated however the first responders are and they seem to be holding up well against the current outbreak so it does seem that the vaccine works against Indian variants. However, it also seems that previous exposure to COVID is not providing any benefit vs the current outbreak.
