A surplus of 53 Billion vs a deficit of 1.19 Billion last December. Payments from Fannie and Freddie of $34 billion were part of the story.  For the first three months of the fiscal year the deficit was 173.6B vs 293.3B last fiscal year.

That's a 40% decline.  Wonder what % of the public knows that.  Maybe five percent?

Good news, but I doubt it'll be covered by most news networks.

probably because the deficit isn't an issue.
