Well, if Manchin does run for Governor (as rumored), then I expect Tennant to get appointed to his seat. So she could very well be a Senator some day.

In fairness to her, is running away from Obama a bad idea in a state where Obama had a 25% approval rating?

Keith Judd won delegates there, she'd have more success saying she voted for Judd than Obama in WV.

Seriously though, Manchin did this and won, and I don't have any issue with it, a lot of Obama's policies are garbage. All that said, I wouldn't vote for Reid and I would have held out for single payer, so I guess I'd be an awful senate Democrat
