Rooting for Kaine. Not that I want him but Sanders should be on the list.

I would like Warren. I realize it is unlikely to happen, but I would like a serious power women ticket and I think she could bring the Sandernistas (or at least 90% of them) into the fold.

Wouldn't mind Booker either. Not big on Castro.

I hope she doesn't go with a boring middle aged white guy.

Elizabeth Warren needs to remain a Senator to sponsor and fight for the kind of legislation only she seems to be willing to do. She's too important to be VP.

Warren needs to stay in the Senate. Few other Senators sponsor the kind of legislation she does. She is in a position to push Clinton to the left on Wall Street regulation. Hard to do as a loyal VEEP. She doesn't add racial or gender diversity, she doesn't add geographic diversity.

Gingrich is seeming more and more likely to me. Trump presumably knew who his VP pick was when he revealed the Friday showcase event, which means he knew before the rally tonight. If he knew his VP pick was Pence, why not just announce Pence tonight in Indiana?

Especially with Pence's deadline.

LOL, Hillary is so weak. Now she considers a general since Big Don took a look at Generals Flynn and Mattis. She has no ideas, must copy from TRUMP.

Clinton has the pick of almost anyone. Trump has to pick the least toxic of about 5 people, and the only military pick he seems to have is a pro-choice Dem that was relieved of his post.

If Pence doesn't get it, does it help or hurt his reelection chances in Indiana? Raise his stature as an important politician for being considered or make him seem like a loser who's more interested in national office than state?

Based on Dem whining in Congress about poll numbers, I'm starting to think she should pick Brown and let Congress worry about its own success.

I'm hoping for Warren, Franken, Klobuchar, Perez, or Becerra, in no particular order.

No idea why Franken isn't talked about more. Would be a strong, exciting pick.

Agreed. He's got NBC/entertainment creds to
match Trump, but has worked hard to be taken seriously. He should sell well to progressives...Air America, attacks on Oreilly.

Clinton promises that there will be no leaks of her VP choice before she sends out the notification texts:

Freedom campaign! VP leaks betray supporters and take away the fundamental appeal of the announcement event. Leaking the VP pick makes one unqualified to work on a presidential campaign.

Let's see if the Clinton campaign is writing a check they can't cash before praising it.  There will be enormous pressure to leak the nominee during the week to step over the RNC.  And it's awfully hard to keep a secret these days.

For God's sake, they better not tell Bill.

If one were to find themself announcing their VP choice on a Friday night at least after 6:30, on the night after a terrorist attack, wouldn't that —uhh— cause one to pause and consider maybe they didn't make the best choice?

Yes, this rollout has been awful!!
