I am no Cruzbot by any means, however, give me a break.
As Solicitor General of Texas, it was his job to fend off challenges of existing Texas laws in court. It's ridiculous to use this as something other than a man doing his job.
If both the job and the man doing it are terrible, then it's fair game.
Eh, I still think it's stupid to confuse the positions a lawyer takes as part of his work, and their personal beliefs. I should hope most people realize that lawyers don't always agree with their clients' positions, or even necessarily like them.
Then Cruz is certainly able to clarify whether he agrees or not.
