Eh... I'd say 7 pts in the GE.  Should be a good state for him, I don't expect McCain to really try here.

I find this hard to believe.  I think this is a state where Obama will build on Kerry's '04 numbers.

Which parties? Are we looking at a Nader or Mckinney, or Barr as the dominant minor party candidates?

My prediction:

MINNESOTA PRESIDENT -
54% (D) Obama
43% (R) McCain

Shrug... it was looking promising there for a while... but I have given up any hope of winning MN and establishing true Republican parity there for the next couple election cycles.  Michigan is looking far more promising, we should forget MN and concentrate our resources there.

Minnesota will probably be targeted by the GOP anyway for the Senate race.  If ads for McCain increase Republican turnout, they could be worthwhile. 

It's the same reason Obama might consider running ads in/visiting Alaska even if he doesn't expect to win the state.
