Moderate Washington suburbanites tend to vote Democratic unless they're given a reason to, and Hillary Clinton is evidently a reason. You know what I tend to notice? It seems as if campaigns generally don't make it on the northern coasts (Washington/Oregon) and (Maine) as much as the rest of the country. I wonder if a good ad buy into Oregon and even Washington by the McCain Campaign can help his numbers. Still a decent Obama win though, IMO. Especially since there aren't that many swing voters in Washington. We are a very polarized state. That's also why a campaign by a Republican isn't very functional. Just look at our Gubernatorial races. I don't think there has been a Republican governor since I've been alive.
