When Missouri missed, it missed a landslide. Ohio Though Delaware and Nevada also only missed 1 election in that timespan, and Nevada was probably a bigger swing state than Ohio. EDIT: Ohio voted for Nixon in 1960 by much more than Missouri went for Stevenson. Delaware never missed an election until 2000, while Nevada only missed one election (1976) with a Democratic candidate who was a horrible fit for the state at a time where the state was trending Republican. |
