Title: Doug Forrester's Company settling Fraud Suit
Post by: TheresNoMoney on August 17, 2005, 05:39:19 PM
Doug Forrester, Republican candidate for governor in NJ, is the majority shareholder in BeneCard Services, Inc, a company which was first accused of fraud in 2002:

"BeneCard, which manages prescription benefit plans for more than 100 New Jersey government entities, has reached deals with Hamilton Township in Mercer County and with the city of Paterson, Hersh Kozlov, BeneCard's attorney, confirmed yesterday.

The municipalities had accused BeneCard of violating the state's consumer fraud act by secretly pocketing rebates from drug companies that should have been passed along to them."

He's only at 50% and Forrester is at 40%. Independents are going for Forrester, too.
