Only 21% of Republicans say they would definitely accept the result.

I think even the 16% of Democrats who probably/definitely wouldn't accept Hillary's defeat would be fairly justified given the current shape of the race. ;)

I don't want to come across as a conspiracy theorist, but if Hillary is leading in the polls by double digits on November 7th, and Trump somehow wins on November 8th... I would have a hard time trusting the results, especially when we know there are outside powers wanting to meddle in the election.

I don't think this is the same level of baseless hysteria that the Trumpists exhibit, but... it could be, so I don't flaunt it very often. :P

Yes, but I'd probably protest.

I'd question it, to be honest. But I'd accept it if it looks right.

Then I'd hate myself forever for not helping enough with the Clinton campaign, and then I'd get to work on 2018 and 2020.

No because the republican governors are rigging the election.

But seriously if a man came along with similar policies to trump and was more "respectable" like Le Pen, or Orban I would be Perfectly fine with their presidency. It may come off a hypocritical, but the issue for me is not ideology, It is mental stability and character.

Of course (McMullin, barring some freak circumstances) won't win.

I'm definitely anticipating an insurrection if McMullin doesn't win. Everyone in Utah will wake up the day after the election to "Mormon Dawn".

Accept it? yes. Live with it after? Unlikely.

When I heard that in the debate I was like 'wow, welcome to Africa'.

To be fair though, African countries are more and more toward fair elections...

It would be the mother of all Bradley effects.

That's what the pollsters would say.

Since my candidate probably doesn't have much chance in the first place, yes.  At this point, I'm not so much concerned about voting for someone who can win as I am about protesting the two lousy choices the major parties have given us.

I will NOT be accepting any result other than a victory for America's next President, Governor Gary Earl Johnson >:(

If my candidate wins I would have a hard time accepting the result as reality, although I wouldn't be complaining. :P

some of us can't afford to accept a trump win, just saying
