Nathan - one of the dozen or so top tier posters who provide actually unique information from an interesting viewpoint. Huge FF, if sometimes a bit faux modest.

MormDem - nice person. If I recall there was some weird drama about him (? May be mistaken itr?) But I haven't seen him do anything untoward and he seems affable and solid, so Ff.

Nathan - Contributes quite a bit of interesting stuff regarding religious/philosophical issues, and puts them across very cogently and respectfully. FF.
LD Smith - Haven't come across him too much tbh, but as far as I can recall he's done me no harm and isn't a troublemaker, so again, FF.
CrabCake - It's good to have a witty British poster on the forum, and she contributes a fair bit, in doing so drawing attention to various topics I hadn't previously known/thought about. Apart from her EU referendum meltdown (which I was regrettably unpleasant to her about), again, solid FF.

Mormdem: means well, always try to improve, a quality a lot of people lack.
Crabcake: well, extremely funny lol
Cassius: has a lot of disturbing views, but not evil and really nice

CrabCake: Hilarious, great poster

Computer09 - eh, provides some good memes. I can excuse the grammar on account of him being ESL, so I won't diss him in that regards (besides I mangle my syntax a lot here).

DC Al Fine - a useful and decent poster, although sometimes I think his "character" (nice, Christian, Canadian accountant?) is a bit affected

Murica - probably one of the funniest posters here.  We probably agree on about no issues and yet I always enjoy reading what he has to say.  Again, another doubtless FF>

Antonio - also great.  Extremely nice guy and very astute, and I do appreciate the fact that unlike other leftists, he does have a more developed (and absolute rather than relative) sense of morality, though it often leads us to different conclusions.

Murica! -- doesn't seem too bad, but I can't really take anybody with a Socialist avatar seriously. Lean FF, I guess

Antonio V -- definitely a guy with an interesting, unique perspective. Not always (hardly ever, actually) in agreement with him but it's frequently interesting to read his take. FF

Haven't seen Enduro much, so can't really judge there.

Actually most of our posters are good people now as I see it. It is quite amazing really, for a forum that anyone can join. Of course, for those hungering for flame wars, and blood and gore, it makes the site less interesting. But then, at the moment, there is enough, more than enough, going on, about this election, that is "interesting."  We don't need to add to it. :)

John Dule: Has a pretty good sense of humor, although it's easy for him to get annoying, especially with his garbage set of personal beliefs. Mixed FF/HP depending on how you grade it.

Santander: Lean FF. Could be better, but still not the worst poster the forum has ever seen.

RFayette is an excellent poster. He is not a troll, contributes occasionally yet with a poignant air around it that is of high quality. He has contributed much to why the Religion board is as good as it is with his knowledge of Christian scripture.

Penn Quaker Girl is another great poster, always so nice and sincere in this wild environment. She’s one of the best newbies of 2019

AndriyValeriovich has contributed much to the US election boards, as well as given deep insights to Ukrainian politics.

Santander - Massive FF, a true gem on Atlas, has a unique and interesting worldview, excellent one-liners, and lampoons the concept of partisanship in a refreshing way that turns it into a knife and stabs it right in the heart.

Jimmy - HP, doesn't really ever express his own opinions, embraces some sort of nanny state corporatism, and plays Atlasia in a feckless and cowardly way.

Elcaspar - Neutral/Lean HP, I don't really know you well yet but I'm not really a fan of Euro-socialism.

1. Seems to have a good sense of humor, something that I appreciate on these forums.

Fuzzy: I don't really consider him a "bad person" (more like stubbornly misguided), but I do find many, if not most, of positions he's espousing as repulsive. I'll go with a "major HP politically".

KaiserDave: FF from what I've seen. I don't know him too well and I don't think we've interacted much.

Penn_Quaker_Girl: Major FF. A rare combination of posting quality and genuinely pleasant demeanor. Also, a welcome addition to the forum's sadly small female demographics.

Sometimes fewer more detailed posts are better than short one-liners (Which as many of you know is one of my major issues with many posters on Atlas that twiddle on their "smart phones" and frequently post content which makes DJT tweets sometimes look more intelligent, regardless of affiliation....

1. My opinion of him has increased significantly due to him being classy to apologize for derailing the thread. Many just aren't able to do that.

2. I don't know him much, but appears to be an FF, even though I see our preferences regarding the Democratic primary are vastly diffrent.

RFayette- Complicated, gonna say neutral. Don't know him enough on a personal level to make this judgement, hesitating because so many people on my side like him. My litmus test is telling LGBTs that they don't deserve to live as they want, but unlike many of the other religion-focused posters he doesn't regularly make homophobic and transphobic posts (did see him recommending some bad ones, though). Definitely not a bad person, though, and clearly very nice on a personal level.
BP1202- gonna be surprising here and say slight tilt FF. His politics are definitely HP for me, but he proved himself to be a decent human being in my view. Unlike other radical anti-Israel posters we used to have here (looking at you Cora), he doesn't support harm coming to me or my family, and that's where I draw the line. Tends to let his emotions take over on the Israel issue and say some bad things, but I can't judge that much because this issue makes me more emotional too.
Sven- not much to discuss here :P Massive FF. A very good person with good politics.

BP1202: a little of a mixed bag, but I'll concur with Parrotguy to say lean FF.

Sven: we've been getting along great when his politics were vastly diffrent, and we're getting along great now. He's never been boring and I'm very glad he's back. Massive FF.

PSOL: It's hard for me to quantify my feelings on a lot of the forum's Democratic Socialists because of some threads in which the greater collective of them collectively expressed some opinions I find very, very dodgy. Having said that, PSOL is one of the top contributors of that bunch and has very rarely had aggressively bad takes as far as I can tell, so FF.

Hindsight: Admittedly I, too, am white and afraid of everything, but that's because of The Autism™ and The Anxiety™, not The Conservatitis™. FF.

Cries of "whataboutism" and "thread derailment" on Atlas are usually smokescreens to hide the fact that one's reasoning in asserting what they are asserting have exposed their ideological blind spots that they can't defend.  That's most of Hindsight's problem; he can't deal with his own faulty reasoning.  (All of our reasoning is faulty; only God's is perfect.)  Hindsight's a guy who could be an FF if he wanted it bad enough, but his false pride gets in the way.

TimTurner is just a downright nice guy and that explains why everyone here likes him.

The Kaiser has a funny signature, is a genuinely nice guy, and sees beyond politics while not necessarily abandoning principle. More on the pragmatic end, but not an ideological sellout and certainly not a hack.

Sort of like how I used to feel about Joe Republic, although I haven't had any personally nasty disagreements with her like I did once or twice with him. Good sense of humor, though.

Roblox: Eh, seems okay. Generic maroon-avatar newbie so far. He'll probably develop more of his own identity as a poster if he sticks around.
Аverroës: Excellent poster. Thoughtful and provides an underrepresented perspective. We have our disagreements, but every time they've come up he's been able and willing to explicate and back up his position, often more so than I have. I'm a fan.

Roblox: Honestly never heard of before in my life. My apologies that I cannot articulate further.

Averroes: Very glad I got this one. Averroes went from a mysterious poster who I mildly disliked over his preference for bicycles over automobiles to one of the leftists I respect most on this forum. This is in part based on my own conversion towards support for more sustainable transport. But it's also because Averroes consistently is willing to call things as he sees them in response to what seem to be boilerplate takes by those on his own side of the aisle. He seems intelligent, rational, and well-informed (moreso than I may ever be on domestic issues).

Nathan: A never-ending font of wisdom, conscientiousness, and obscure popular culture knowledge. In real life, we would probably have only rarely crossed paths if in the same general geographic or social environment. I'm glad that this forum allows for a space to communicate with those socially distal from oneself on matters of import, including Nathan, who I occasionally spam with PMs on such important topics as C.S. Lewis and mid-2000s Eastern hemisphere animation.

Averroes - Insightful Massive FF who's a true enemy of the "Echo Chamber".  He's a guy who's more liberal than me who's willing to see all sides of an argument, and that's not common here.
Nathan - He might be a Soft FF if I grade on the curve.
Cath - Massive FF, and (previously) one of the best mods here.

Nathan: I've always cared for Nathan. Genuinely. I think he used to be a little bit evasive at times and I've not handled that well and caused him upset that still makes feel bad. But since he's came back I hope we get along better. He pleads both knowledge of what he knows but also ignorance of what he doesn't and that's a strength.

Loki: Until I took notice I never thought anyone that level of far left consciousness could be a diehard Trump fan. There were anecdotes, but I never knew the cognitive dissonance of supporting a crass trashy hyper capitalist was at all possible. His recent 'my bad' is admirable AND RARE and I'm looking forward to what happens next.

Nathan:  He's the kind of guy I'd never endorse if he were running for office, but if we were part of the same legislative body, we could likely find common ground to advance objectives and achieve reasonable and defensible compromises.  I'd give him an FF on that score.

afleitch:  While forming this post, I remembered the following entry in a thread titled:  "Do you suffer from Asperger's or Autism?"


So I'm willing to be understanding.  He's not alone here.  Other posters have received the Fuzzy Bear pushback for some of their less-than-FF posts, and I've later seen sharing on the forum such as the quote.  Nor do I necessarily condemn his attitude about his situation, as I view escaping suffering as a good thing.  If I'm going to have a serious diagnosis, I'd at least prefer that the condition be somewhat asymptomatic or (at a minimum) well-managed.  And I certainly have empathy for folks who are afflicted with conditions on the Autism Spectrum and ADHD.  (My 14 year old son has ADHD, so I'm familiar with impulsive statements that have to be walked back.)  I remember how many poster posted on such Forum Community threads as the one I referenced and thought, "Wow!  I didn't even think about that!"

I find it really fascinating that 'iamworstmod' despite the fact I engage in little to no moderation.

That you think the quality of my posts merits HP to me is suggestive of someone who hasn't read any of them. But I can't force your hand on this. People like all sorts of content on here.

Finally, please don't grandstand (a trait of yours which in my opinion derails and clutters topics) over my aspergers. It has absolutely no relevance here and is so off mark and deeply personal that I'm suprised you decided to go there. It doesn't merit a response.

It's not that remarkable - I believe the other Palestinian on the forum said he refuses to talk to Israelis. There's conscription too.

BP: Uh...he keeps growing on me with his generally reasonable and well-backed-up takes (he genuinely convinced me to reconsider my support for Elizabeth Warren), and then he comes out with flagrantly hate-filled nonsense like what he just said about Parrotguy and we're back to square one. (And yes, I'd say the same of Parrotguy if he said anything similar about Palestinians, or any other nationality for that matter.) I'm honestly not sure what to make of that.
OSR: Personally very decent, surprisingly good views on some of the issues (just tonight I found out he's in favor of reinstating Glass-Steagall), but the overall political philosophy in which those views are contextualized is one I don't have a lot of respect for. Jimmie is just a nice person period, and I think he’s an interesting if low key poster. Old School Republican has tedious political views but he takes a lot of abuse in stride. Grassr00ts has his finger on the pulse of the modern GOP and is absolutely hilarious on top of that. All three are FF
