Well, it all comes down to turnout. Will Perdue become the next Chambliss '08, or just barely scrape by?

I trust PPP more than Landmark, so I'm sticking with this going to a runoff.

Technically, Perdue is at 49.8% in the poll, which would end up in runoff territory.

Most likely outcome is going to be runoff.

Why did the polls swing to Perdue these last few days?

Why did the polls swing to Perdue these last few days?

Erosion of Libertarian support for one. Republicans coming home to Perdue as well. As purple as some of the red hats want to make Georgia, it's not that purple yet. It's still a fundamentally Republican state.

You explained it better than I could. I still think this will go to a runoff, however.

Thos race will probably go into a runoff, and Perdue will win that runoff.
