Title: Re: Marist-KY: McConnell +8 Post by: KCDem on September 07, 2014, 09:37:37 AM Not buying it.
Title: Re: Marist-KY: McConnell +8 Post by: Keystone Phil on September 07, 2014, 09:57:46 AM Another slap of reality but the usual suspects around here will say they didn't feel a thing!

Not buying poll. ALG will k it close until election day. Every poll has it 4. Title: Re: Marist-KY: McConnell +8 Post by: moderatevoter on September 07, 2014, 10:41:37 AM OC, do you just not buy polls you don't like? Seems like it.
Granted this is a questionable pollster, but I've seen this a few times from you as of late. Title: Re: Marist-KY: McConnell +8 Post by: World politics is up Schmitt creek on September 07, 2014, 11:30:53 AM Marist isn't a great pollster, but Grimes isn't going to win.
Title: Re: Marist-KY: McConnell +8 Post by: Bandit3 the Worker on September 07, 2014, 11:39:03 AM I'm not buying it either, especially since they have Cotton up by 5 (right after another poll showed him down by 2).
Title: Re: Marist-KY: McConnell +8 Post by: Pandaguineapig on September 07, 2014, 11:46:05 AM I'm not buying it either, especially since they have Cotton up by 5 (right after another poll showed him down by 2). Title: Re: Marist-KY: McConnell +8 Post by: Bandit3 the Worker on September 07, 2014, 11:50:20 AM Also, was this poll before or after the scandals in the McConnell campaign broke? Maybe it's possible the scandals helped him, if he somehow managed to make himself look like a victim of the big, mean, "liberal" media.

Without a medium-big scandal, can't see Grimes win. Title: Re: Marist-KY: McConnell +8 Post by: The Other Castro on September 07, 2014, 03:13:46 PM Marist isn't a great pollster, but Grimes isn't going to win. Yeah, with all the Occupy-stuff going on in Kentucky Grimes is sure to win. Title: Re: Marist-KY: McConnell +8 Post by: DrScholl on September 08, 2014, 11:26:10 AM Another slap of reality but the usual suspects around here will say they didn't feel a thing! Just remember that logic for the Governor's race in your own state. Title: Re: Marist-KY: McConnell +8 Post by: backtored on September 08, 2014, 11:27:05 AM I'm not buying it either, especially since they have Cotton up by 5 (right after another poll showed him down by 2). I actually agree with Bandit. Mitch is going to win, but Bandit is right that Marist's latest batch of polls was absurdly elastic. Just remember that logic for the Governor's race in your own state. Great talking point!...except...when have I argued otherwise to justify your comment? |
