Title: Re: SC: Rasmussen: Haley winning comfortably Post by: Badger on April 17, 2014, 06:33:04 PM If Shaheen had come out against "right-to-work" laws, he'd be winning. ::) This is SOUTH CAROLINA, genius! Reality, meet Bandit. Bandit, Reality. Title: Re: SC: Rasmussen: Haley winning comfortably Post by: IceSpear on April 17, 2014, 06:53:34 PM If Shaheen had come out against "right-to-work" laws, he'd be winning. Which is why Walker went down in flames during the recall. Alternate reality is fun. I knew he was more conservative, but not to the point where he's pro-RTW. Looks like I'm going third-party Title: Re: SC: Rasmussen: Haley winning comfortably Post by: SWE on April 18, 2014, 10:33:39 AM If Shaheen had come out against "right-to-work" laws, he'd be winning. Title: Re: SC: Rasmussen: Haley winning comfortably Post by: Tender Branson on April 18, 2014, 12:02:33 PM SC had the biggest decline in the unemployment rate over the previous year:
https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=190671.0 The UE rate is down by 2.5%, from 8% to 5.5% This could help Haley. Wouldn't be surprised if those numbers were cooked. The county map seems to show my county between 6 and 8% unemployment. I got a good laugh out of that. Title: Re: SC: Rasmussen: Haley winning comfortably Post by: ElectionsGuy on April 18, 2014, 01:18:52 PM I think Sabato should move this race to Likely R while moving races like Ohio and Wisconsin to Lean R.

Title: Re: SC: Rasmussen: Haley winning comfortably Post by: True Federalist (진정한 연방 주의자) on April 18, 2014, 02:32:02 PM I'm surprised that Haley is doing so poorly against Shaheen. After all very few people have heard of the New Hampshire U.S. Senator down here. Now if the numbers were against Sheheen, the South Carolina State Senator who lost to Haley four years ago, they'd be about what I would expect given how the economy has improved in the past year and that she hasn't made any significant gaffes lately.
