Title: Which voters did Ron Paul pick up in 2012? Post by: BaconBacon96 on April 07, 2014, 09:54:21 PM In 2008, Ron Paul got about 5.5% of the Republican primary vote. In Iowa he got 9% of the vote.
Now four years later, he got about 10% of the total vote and 21% in Iowa. My question is, which 2008 voters that didn't vote for him then did Paul pick up support from? I mean I highly doubt Mitt Romney or John McCain voters would've decided to cast their ballot for him in 2012 and I would have imagined a large number of Huckabee voters went to Santorum instead.
