Title: Cass County Indiana
Post by: minionofmidas on November 18, 2012, 07:18:52 AM
Obama, Barack Joe Biden (Democratic)    2181
Johnson, Gary James P. Gray (Libertarian)    340
Romney, Mitt Paul Ryan (Republican)    8432

This is the vote total reported on the state site, and also on the Atlas. This represents a complete Democratic collapse. This county is in Northern Indiana.

Now compare

Donnelly, Joseph S. (Democratic)    6315
Horning, Andrew "Andy" (Libertarian)    1133
Mourdock, Richard E. (Republican)    6613

Gregg, John R. / Vi Simpson (Democratic)    6246
Boneham, Rupert / Brad Klopfenstein (Libertarian)    803
Pence, Michael R. / Sue Ellspermann (Republican)    7104

Hmmmm.... this is more in line with 2000, 2004, 2008 results for President, even though it does represent a somewhat lowered turnout still.

What money on that 2 at the beginning of the Dem vote total ought to be a 6or possibly a 7?

Just noticed they have a county website with results. That 2181 is Barack Obama's early votes, while the other two are correct. The correct Obama (day+early, as reported on election night) tally is 5365. Huh. Weird error on the part of the state.
