Am hearing from some that in the last week Dems have been so confident of Newsom's safety that they have turned their attention to turning out base voters/low-propensity Latinos in McCarthy/Valadao/Nunes/Issa's districts to flex muscle and show strength going into the midterms.

If it’s a 56-41 result then I think the recall will narrowly carry OC.

Wait wait, I'm lost: from where are we getting a potential 56-41 result?

That's Biden's current approval rating in California, per the exit polls.

There's not going to be any "third party" vote in the recall question.

Am hearing from sources that “No on Recall” is already being discussed as a potential replacement for Dianne Feinstein.

Am now hearing from the same folks who made the comments re: McCarthy/Valadao/Nunes/Issa's districts that the results have so far exceeded even their most optimistic expectations. Some believe the initial exit polls of Latinos are off the mark, but don't say so confidently.
