I don't understand how supporters can look at tweets that are so narcissistic and simplistic and still support this guy. You want a protectionist that's against illegal immigration? Fine. I don't agree with everything they'd support, but at least get one that speaks coherently and doesn't ramble on.

I'm no fan of most current Republican leaders, but I have never doubted that Mike Pence, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, etc. are at least intelligent people even if their beliefs do not align with my own.

Getting a twitter rant about them from Trump helps in appealing to the types the Lincoln Project is wanting to reach: "establishment" Conservatives/Republicans that don't like Trump and those all important former Republican suburban voters that gave Democrats the majority in the House in 2018

The word is shameless. The coward Donald Trump is shameless. He is incapable of honesty.

And the idea that he "loves America" is nonsense.  He loves playing the President of the United States in front of the cameras, and he loves getting attention, and he loves abusing power and authority for the benefit of his own diseased ego. He "loves" America the same way a sexual predator at a strip club "loves" women.
