Agree or Disagree: opebo's religion bashing is better than Einzige's

When opebo does it it's very witty, humorous and rather original. Einzige just comes across as a tool.

Einzige is just so ernest.  He's a painfully tedious fundamentalist who has convinced himself that he is a "free thinker."  I get the impression that opebo just doesn't care and likes saying outrageous things for the shock value, which is certainly better than being a dreary pedantic know-it-all killjoy.

Mikado's description of Einzige as a "fundamentalist" is the best I've ever heard.  I see no distinction between him and those who gravitate toward extremist religion because they enjoy the idea of being extreme and convinced of their correctness.  It's the same thing, just different material.

The most amusing thing is that he is so devoted to his atheism it's almost like a religion itself. His posts that you refer to remind me of jmfcst's Bible quote fests. Also similiar in the fact that no one reads them.

opebo is a guy who just doesn't believe in God and dislikes any form of moral code. Einzige is a guy who basically seems to believe he was divinely chosen to eradicate religion in the world.

They are both repetitive, arrogant and predictable. Granted, Einzige is worse on all counts.

Also, Opebo is at least well-bred in his behaviour. Einzige seems like on of those mentally unstable kids who will one day shoot first his family and then himself with a shot-gun. Amusingly similar to one of those hill-billies that he so despises.

There's something to be said for those shot-gun intra-familial executions, Gustaf.  Keeps people honest knowing that ultimately they could get shot gunned if they're a big enough problem to someone.
