Nature created religion.

Ah, and, outside of the fact that this statement on Somalia can be made inane on so much levels, I don't think that Islam causes economical troubles to KSA.

Haha, I thought to answer to Winston's post:

You know, between USA and USSR, USA won.

Nature created religion.
Rather, religion creates nature.  Each Culture has a unique worldview first encapsulated within its religion that becomes the basis for all observation of and thinking about nature.

Well, it's a cycle that feeds itself. But basically, if we consider that we are a life form being fully part of the nature, and that we, humans, come from the nature, and that religion is (in very short) our interpretation of nature, then nature created religion. Religion interpreted nature, didn't create it, it recreated it at best.

The only way I would see 'religion created nature' as correct, would be to buy the fact that we all come from an omnipotent creator, which I personally don't buy.

I pointed this out because when Winston says religion is counter-nature, I say no because if we are part of nature and if we made religion, then religion is natural, comes from nature...
