1-My soon-to-be State Senator is Senate Majority Leader. My previous State Senator was Majority Leader prior to 2004. Good thing.
2-My soon-to-be State Representative supports lowering the voting age to 12, imposing a tax on breast implants and has been fined and done community service for vandalizing GOP campaign material. No I'm not making this up.

Of course there's a good chance I won't be able to vote for either since I'll be moving again in June and possibly to a different part of Minneapolis. But what a combo.

Maybe you'll be able to vote soon then, BRTD.

And doesn't imposing a tax on breast implants make your experience at strip clubs, how should I put it, a little less titillating.

I hate strippers with fake boobs and will usually refuse to get a dance from one even if they are otherwise hot.

lulz, Phyllis Kahn.  For a week last year when I was a page, I wanted to ask her what the meaning of life is, seeing as she has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and all.

Those crazy Minneapolis liberals.

My state senator took your state senator-to-be canoing down the Mississippi river up here.. she looked like she had a blast despite the cloudy, humid, hot weather and constant attack of biting flies and mosquitoes.

I've been so happy that the exurbs are vastly underrepresented now that the Republicans have been reduced to a memory of what they were just a few years ago.

Then you must get few dances.

No. Texas and NYC strip clubs must be different from Minnesota ones then (not a shocker though)

Maybe the women there are so fat, they don't have to get breast implants to have big boobs.

Yeah, and she's been sitting in the Minnesota House being nutters for 36 years.

Strange thing is a comment I read from her in the paper on the bill that legalized ticket scalping in Minnesota, of which she was one of the primary sponsors. She called the anti-ticket scalping law "socialist interference with the free market"

Sounds kind of out of character, but maybe she was just reaching for more Republican support.

Depends on your definition of "free market"

Maybe the men there are so sane, pretty girls don't have to get breast implants to get customers.
