As I suggested, Rayburn or Kefauver would make good (long, not quick spirted) names.

Or we could go with a Native American name, as a tribe: Cherokee

Or Jefferson, or someone along those lines of Historical Value.

I am very uncomfortable with anything over 12, to be frank. I feel that if we are to have a balance between new states and lessening the confusion on newer players, 12 would be a good max. I will have my proposal up too, I guess.

That Texas could be divided and still remain the dominant component of several states is a positive thing in my opinion.

From Leinad's map what I like best is the idea of a Gulf Coast state. Culturally and geographically it makes sense. However the sheer number is excessive and I do think we should try our best to avoid any unneeded head ache on the part of whoever is running the voting rolls. I admit even my own thirteen + Nashville map is a bit much. Perhaps we should aim for an even ten? Or eleven at most if we want to make the capital its own jurisdiction.

10 would be great for me. I'd be fine with that.
