I'm a fan of both, but prefer Warner more. And I was also hoping that the Democrat ticket would be Warner/Bayh this year back in 2006.

A Mark Warner candidacy in 2012 would be the one advantage of a Republican victory this fall. Add Sherrod Brown to the ticket as Vice President and you have a winning ticket.

I disagree. If John McCain is elected President this year, I think the Democrats will nominate a centrist figure come 2012 after losing three Presidential elections in a row.
